so did I...I have a husband that had dirty baby diapers thrown at him and was yelled at as 'baby killer' etc.

The difference now is that we have a solid republican/conservative radio audience; we have cable news; we have the internet with republican/conservative programs on it; and we have the power of the email; snail mail; we can reach further and faster than we could then....everything is to our advantage....

Polling showed the American public still firmly in support of the war in Vietnam, despite across-the-board media efforts to glorify and inflate the size of the "antiwar movement".

Still the war was abandoned just as it was there to be decisively won.

I have watched this thing unfold for several years now and it's been deja rear-vue all the way. It's uncanny the way it's going like it's on autopilot or something. Every time I mention the similarities here I am flamed by at least half-a-dozen people who deride me as a quitter or worse, but I'm telling you (the Papal "You") right here and now, this is going exactly like Vietnam did. President Bush is rapidly running out of time to avoid the same disastrous outcome. This is it. If this new strategy doesn't get it right then it's all over and we'll never stop the Islamofascists. They are about to make the same mistake here they made in Vietnam, send in more troops but keep the same one-sided rules of engagement. They could do with half the troops they have their now if we would use our military the was it was designed to be used, break things and kill people!
