In #139 and #143, I put forward a theory of the crime and invited visitors to refute a single point in it. It covers the known medical facts. I don't know of any other theory that does. No refutation was offered, as usual. I also urge visitors to explain what caused Terri's injuries. For heaven's sake, if they know something, we want to hear about it! If they have one ounce of factual information exonerating Michael Schiavo, let us see it.
#176, 177, 178 and 179 are scientific or other research papers in support of the positional asphyxia theory. bjs1779 posted some eye-opening timeline info in #180 and #210. Note also #209. The Nancy Grace interview reported in #184 and #195 was a revelation -- especially Wendy Murphy's caustic observation that Michael Schiavo was already a "fraud on the court" back in 1993. How could a judge believe him after that? People still believe the bum.
I suspect the visitors listened to the media line on Terri's autopsy report and missed the main event: Dr. Thogmartin shot down Michael's only alibi. (His "alibi" was absurd in the first place.) So there he is, early Sunday morning, hysterical. With no explanation, his wife is lying on the floor, face down, in cardiac arrest, unconscious and unresponsive. Dammit, how did she get there? Seems a reasonable enough question, doesn't it?
Here's the most likely answer:
Domestic Violence is a Serious, Widespread Social Problem in America: The Facts
or, Some facts about Domestic Violence [Note the section on batterers and control freaks. Michael fits the profile.]
Many, many more statistics available on such subjects, but only one message: domestic violence is the leading cause of death and injury to young women. For Terri we can rule out disease, alcohol, drugs, suicide, and of course automobile wrecks, which covers just about all of the alternative causes for her trauma and near-fatal injuries. (After all, what is left?)
There is only one suspect and he has no alibi. Sounds as if he made a rather early "private medical decision" to "alter his wife's course of treatment," doesn't it?
