That is a damn shame, but encouraging the other side to believing they can beat us is not going to shorten this conflict, or save any lives.
Many of the deaths in the past 2 years would never have happened without the encouragement given to the terrorists to hang on, the Dems were coming soon. I consider every politician and DBM critter who has called President Bush stupid or said that the war was wrong (after it had started) to have culpability in this. They will never admit it, however. We really live in parallel universes.
