Again you should ask Rick Warren.

My personal opinion is that abstinence is the only valid alternative.

Since you are defending Rick Warren, I pose the question to you.

How come your opinion agrees with the Bible and secular research and Rick Warren, a minister doesn't share this?

Now, maybe you have more information as to why I doubt Rick Warren and find him a humanist at best.

I'm not an apologist for Rick Warren, but I've seen a lot of petty accusations against him and I've seen some blatant and complete misrepresentations of what he's said and from his book The Purpose Driven Life. Please understand I'm not saying you've done any of what I just mentioned. I've also seen valid and accurate criticisms of Warren.

One thing I can't argue with is the Holy Spirit is convicting people to a saving knowledge of God through Warren's ministry.
