Thanks, 4.
You know, the thing I dread most about another possible Clinton presidency is looking at all of those messy files again.
I guess the non-Ostrich part of me knows that the garbage is still happening, but I can justify ignoring it more persuasively if the dealmaking isn't staring me in the face daily. :-(
I sneezed and my hand hit the button accidentally!
The problem with the Left is that they cannot accept the concept of "evil". To them, everyone is capable of reasoned thought. So if we're just kind to them...if we are willing to meet them halfway, they will meet us halfway. And they'll be happy and we'll be happy and "give peace a chance".
The naivete of the Left is remarkable. And it goes a long way in explaining how they actually believe that by executing Saddam, we are "barbaric".
My BIL, bless his cotton socks, actually told me that executing a Ted Bundy is not a deterrent, and that "helping" him to become a contributing member of "prison society" is "civilized".
He was horrified when I said that executing a Ted Bundy has nothing to do with deterrence, and has everything to do with justice and getting rid of a piece of human debris who chose to kill viciously, and with malice aforethought.
I don't want him to be a part of "society", in prison or otherwise. He gave up his right to "breath" when he robbed others of their right to do the same.
I cannot for the life of me understand theit reasoning and I have given up trying.
OOGO The Fat will get a "deal" on his oil shipments
to China over the next five years,,,
This was posted awhile back...
They don't think anyone is evil, but Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, etc. And they are about the most logical, measured, compassionate and kind men on the face of the earth. But they're also intelligent, decisive and manly. I think there hatred stems from fear and embarrassment.
But they can't see the vitriol and hatred that oozes out of Clinton, Kerry, and all of the homicidal tyrants of the world. Amazing!
"We could start the rumor anyway. ;-)"
I'm in for it!!!
