A view of Keith Ellison's mission now that he has been elected to Congress:

"Keith Ellison clearly has a firm mission for establishing the divine plan of Allah in the American soil. His oath by the Koran is probably the first step and a bold statement of his mission. ‘Ye worst beast Americans; thou must accept his oath by the Koran’ [Q 8:55]."

Islam is just so very special:

"Muslims Refuse to Wash Hands at UK Hospitals
Because the anti-bacterial gel contains alcohol: Muslims ‘refuse anti-MRSA gel’. (Hat tip: Tom.)

Some Muslims are undermining the battle to rid Britain’s hospitals of killer infections by refusing to wash their hands when visiting sick relatives.

Dispensers containing anti-bacterial gel have been placed outside wards at hospitals all over Britain in a bid to get rid of superbugs like MRSA and PVL. It prevents people bringing in more infections. But some Muslims refuse to use the hand cleansers on religious grounds because they contain alcohol.

Health watchdogs are so concerned they intend to meet with NHS bosses in the New Year to try and hammer out a solution.

NHS care assistant Theresa Poupa, 46, became aware of the situation while visiting a sick cousin at the London Chest Hospital in Bethnal Green. She said: “I could not believe it - the signs are large enough and clear enough but they just took no notice and walked straight onto the ward."

A delegation that included the governor of Salahuddin Province and the head of Saddam Hussein's clan has retrieved his body from Baghdad and was taking it to Tikrit, near the executed dictator's hometown, for burial, Al-Arabiya satellite television reported Saturday night.

The reported could not immediately be verified.

The Arab broadcaster said Salahuddin provincial governor Hamad Hamoud Shagtti and Sheik Ali al-Nidawi, leader Saddam's of the Albu-Nassir clan, had negotiated with US and Iraqi officials to be able to bury the executed leader's body near where he was born, the village of Ouja which is near Tikrit, 130 kilometers north of Baghdad.

The report said the clan was gathering at the grand mosque in Ouja to await the return of Saddam's remains.

He was captured in an underground hide-out near the village on Dec. 13, 2003, eight months after he fled Baghdad ahead of advancing American troops.

I was surprised not to see a CAIR response to Barbara Boxer's withdrawal of an award from one of their own since they are so mouthy. Of course there was one:

"CAIR responds predictably: it’s Islamophobia, spread by Jews!

The move outraged CAIR officials who charged that the liberal Democratic senator was responding to the writings of Joe Kaufman, a blogger who has expressed sympathy for slain Jewish extremist Meir Kahane in the past , and whose columns regularly appear on the Web site of conservative activist David Horowitz. CAIR has formally asked for a meeting with Boxer and demanded that she withdraw the action—which one top CAIR official said smacks of “Islamophobia.”

“This is an attempt to marginalize the largest and most mainstream Muslim organization in the country,” says Hussam Ayloush, executive director of CAIR’s office in southern California. “This is absolutely unacceptable.”

Nihad Awad, CAIR’s top Washington official, vigorously denied the charges that CAIR has any links to terror groups and said the allegations are based on a “deliberate smear campaign” by individuals who cannot brook any criticism of the Israeli government. “We feel that the same crowd who is pushing these smears against CAIR is the same crowd as the neocons that pushed us into the Iraq war,” he says. “They are trying to smear the Muslim community and they are trying to silence its voice. This takes us back to the McCarthy era.” ...

...CAIR Executive Director Awad refuses to say whether he would also condemn Hamas—which has taken credit for similar attacks in Israel—as a group or even whether he considers it a terrorist organization like the U.S. State Department does. “We condemn these groups when they committed acts of terrorism,” he says. “But I’m not going to play the game of the pro-Israel lobby just so they can put words in our mouth. Our position is very clear.

“The entire issue is going back to Israel,” Awad adds. “If you love Israel, you’re OK. If you question Israel, you’re not. If that is the litmus test, no American Muslim and no freedom-loving person is going to pass that test.”

Captain Ed has some unkind, and quite accurate, words for the media which I gleefully repost here:

"The dictator has met his end, at the hands of the people he tormented for decades. He received more justice in a single day of his trial than he ever gave anyone during his reign of terror. Yet the American media covered that trial as if it were the Saddam show, rather than provide coverage of the many witnesses to his genocides and crimes against humanity. This was the most consequential and historic trial of a mass murderer since Nuremberg, and the only points of interest to the American media were the self-serving disruptions of the defendants -- and they questioned the fairness of the trial because the monsters tried turning the trial into a circus.

It wasn't just the execution coverage that was a joke; it was the entire coverage of Saddam Hussein, going back to Eason Jordan's deal with the devil that kept their Baghdad bureau open. The last 24 hours just confirms their soullessness. (via Memeorandum)"

He also has video of a tv reporter calling Hussein's execution an assassination. LOLOL.

At least Jehovah's Witnesses are only placing their own lives in jeopardy when they refuse blood transfusions.

This will be interesting to watch. Wonder if this is happening in Detroit hospitals....

Hi there, pinz. Yes, isn't it. I have learned quite a bit about the Islamists' view of religion and the world. I don't like it.

If it is, they should not be allowed in the wards. Those super bugs are killers.
