This poem was written by Corporal Joshua Miles, 3rd Battalion,2nd Marines and his buddies. It is titled Wish You Were Here..Your question sent me searching..

I found it featured in several blogs and one TV station site..The one above is beautiful and contains an explanation from his parent. The poem is a little past half down as you scroll.

Thank you for asking because I was happy I found the source. The screen got a bit blurry.
