Victoria,

What do you think, Duncan Hunter or Rudy Giuliani?

You mentioned you want someone who's got a clear record on all the issues so that there's no "surprises". Hunter has plenty time to gain name recognition.

IMO, Rudy will put social liberals on the high courts ending the chance(s) Bush has started with Alito and Roberts. That alone ends my support for da Mayor, plus a long list of other facts against him. Rudy or Hildabest would be the same on virtually all the "social issues".

Anyway that's how I see it right now.

Waiting for your perspective.

Kevin

Hunter is my pick so far.....I just wish the media would give him a little attention. The only thing we ever hear from them, even Fox, is all about our "front-runners" MCCrazy, Rudy, and Romney (did you know he's a Mormon? ;)).

Get back to me when you have grown up into the reality stage.

We get it. You don't like Hunter but have nothing to bash him with aside from trivia.

See tagline.

The fact that they don't give him attention at this point is to the benefit, I think. He won't be over-exposed like the three-headed liberal monster, Rudy McRomney.

The only positive is that it makes little difference who immature clowns like GR support, they'd kiss ass on any pretty face who might let him hang around, no matter how liberal. Who knows, they might be an Obama Mama.

If you're a liberal Dem, the media is already campaigning for you. If you're a conservative Republican, the media is not going to pay attention until you have so much support that they have to. The balls in our court. If there is a united, grassroots uprising of support for someone like Hunter, the media will take notice.

Well, we've already had one Rudy supporter who said he could support Cong. Hunter. If he's able to unite FR, he might have more than a decent shot.

"Hunter/Santorum?"

VP's real value is in garnering votes the Presidential candidate might not get. I think Santorum and Hunter have much the same base. We are also likely looking at running against a Dem ticket with a Black and/or female on it. A VP candidate who could bring additional gender, ethnic or geographical support might be better. Or how about Zel Miller? That would twist some toga's. Or maybe a military man/woman.

Anyone know how he comes across? Any charisma?

He isn't charismatic, nor does he care to be. "Unpleasant" is a phrase that is used to describe him.

There is an interesting dynamic in his family. His brother heads a group that leaves water and supplies in the desert areas to help illegals coming into the country. He buries the food and the gallons of water all over the area, with flags showing the illegals where to dig.
