Is fairly conservative anything like compassionately conservative?

I happen to believe Tom Delay, he should know first hand the power of what liberals do. Further he also is aware of human nature and that no Republican candidate on the scene at present can present themselves any thing right of Hillry.

Hillry has got religion she serves the 'purpose' of a number of religious folks.

One such example of the coalition’s power played out precisely as planned in California’s 11th District. Republican Rep. Richard Pombo was toppled after facing an onslaught of attacks from the left.

Yeah, Tom. And you know why it worked? Because the GOP had NOTHING that it stood for as a cohesive party. The main message in California was "Vote for the Republicans, so the Dems won't win."

Between that feckless strategy and the lead guy in CA running away from his party as far as he could, the only thing that saved CA from losing more Republican Congressional seats than Pombo's was the fact that we are gerrymandered out the wazoo.

If the GOP doesn't want to get pounded in two years, it would behoove them to put forth a national agenda message along the lines of the Contract with America, and show some indication they mean it, instead of gum flapping. Individual races, run one at a time with a bazillion individual agendas invites defeat in detail, which is how Pombo lost his seat, and we lost both houses: the Dem strategists picked off individuals with precise targeting.

In all honesty, I did not fully realize the impact or potential of the blogosphere until very recently

What hubris. And these are the guys we carried water for?

The media will be fawning all over her and Obama like nothing we have EVER seen before...

We've ALREADY had not one, but TWO television shows trying to tell us how great she would be as President...

And if you think Dems won't pull EVERY vote fraud trick to get her elected, tou're fooling yourself...

Notice you haven't heard ANYTHING in the media for weeks now about "Stolen Elections"???
They are only "Stolen" when Republicans win, no matter how many dead people and illegal aliens vote absentee...

The traitor's "coalition" can't be matched but it should be tried (for sedition and aiding and abetting the enemy in time of war).

Here are the elements of that "coalition":

"Grassroots" (read "communist activists") internet efforts for logistics and finance.

BSM ("BS Media") for propaganda and coordination with our enemies, foreign and domestic in order to deliver a consistent anti-american message worldwide, followed by polling data to reinforce the message just delivered.

The entire educational system for stripping a generation of Americans of any knowledge of our history that might instill patriotic pride, while erasing moral and ethical underpinnings from which comes the ability to distinguish between good and evil.

A political class more interested in individual power than national survival.

Sorry Tom, don't think $52 a month is gonna offset this.

He also said that his indictment would be shown for the trumped-up case it was and would lead to nothing....

As President, can Hillary pardon Clinton from his impeachment charge?

No but they won't sell business down the river. As far as bedroom issues, the highest courts in the land are fairly conservative as well. Would make sense in light current events for the Presidency to go good cop for a while. Still execute the war in Iraq but be more likeable doing it. Whatever. It's going down so you might as well plan accordingly.

I see no difference in Tom and Newt. They both failed us when we needed them most.

I doubt either could get elected dog catcher.I'm sick of all the old worn out names coming up as our next Republican savior.

Say "Hello" to Art Bell for me, while you're there........

Sorry, I don't get the connection between Art Bell and the Philippines.
Did I miss something?

"It’s this liberal coalition, working in concert with the news media, that will propel Clinton to the White House in 2008, DeLay said. “Hillary will be the next president of the United States because they have built a coalition,” he said. "

Tom Delay is a genius. He may even be smarter than me.

If I were a betting woman, my money would be on Hillary and Obama. First woman, first black - both lying through their teeth with the help of the media to position themselves as centrists, and no likeable, winnable conservative candidates on the horizon.

They're a shoo in. (gagging as I type that)

Yep that was the sign. They are officially trusted with the highest secrets of the land and that's all the office of President has become. A vetted CIA position. Sorry but again I must ...

And will Republican politicians wage counter attacks now? I suspect they'll just say "Thank you" and walk away so the liberals can read the "kick me" sign on their backs.

DeLay said he’s had 100 people pay the $52 per year to join the Grassroots Action and Information Network.

There's the real point of the comment, "Send me money"

What hubris. And these are the guys we carried water for?

It's worse than you think our illustrious leaders do not read the blogs they do read Mark Steyn or anything of the sort.

I don't know if it's hubris, it might be flat out stupidity.

Bush I is the greatest embarassment the party has had in 100 years. It makes me physically ill to see the father of our current President (a great guy in his own right) sucking up to that trashball. Well, we've been warned. The day the MSM knocked off Allen was the beginning of the end. Osama Hussein Obama is going to be her VEEP just to assure that the blacks turn out to vote without walking money.

I dread what is going to happen to our taxes===literally fear it!
