I can understand Jim Gibbons and Lane Evans not being there anymore, but where is Barbara Cubin and John Murtha??

I presume Johnny Boy is still pissed off over the whole battle with Hoyer, but Cubin is really scarying me. She wins by just a couple hundred votes after running a terrible campaign in a state that has shown Democratic signs of life lately. I think this should be or definetly will be her last term if she is showing so much apathy to being a Congresswomen.

Cubin is hands-down one of the most awful members of the House. If she doesn't retire, I suspect the Dem Trauner will win in '08 (he's very likely to run again). For those not keeping score, this is the freakin' Wyoming at large district.

Maybe people at the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review knows where Murthawi is. They endorsed him for reelection and then for the majority leader job, he must be in pretty tight with someone there.
