"Who is Matt Lauer and what is the Today Show?"

I have no idea, but I do remember a "Today" morning show.
I think I last saw it in the early 70s.

The question should be, "Who is Al Gore?".

Being from Tennessee for about 60 years, I knew of the Gore political family....typical corrupt Democraps.
There was some Al Gore that ran for president, but us good folks of Tennessee declined to vote for him.

Now there is Al Gore the climatologist.. The Al Gore that I know of flunked out of divinity school. Is that where they teach climatology?

I really wonder if this fool can tell hot from cold...
Oh, wait..I remember a Gore saying that he invented the internet...Wow, it is a wonder that I can be using it now.

You know who Tony Snow is right? - The press secretary for the President? Well, for Democrats it works a bit differently. They don't have just one person representing them in the media, they have an extensive network of press secretaries to conduct a number of daily briefings (daily at 6:00 or around tha time on CBS, NBC, ABC). Matt Lauer is one and the Today Show is just what they've nicknamed his daily briefing for the Democrats.
There are other well known folks working for the DNC also, Dan Rather, Katie Couric, Chris Matthews.
