Personally, I think it's a deliberate attempt by the radical Islamists in this country to hamstring our people into inaction.
You fear reprisal lawsuits and 'racist' allegations so you ignore inappropriate and suspicious behaviour.
Pretty soon, 'no one sees anything' and we're back to the same blindness that we were pre-9/11.
I fear in my soul that the day of reckoning is almost here.
Islam uses the weaker aspects of Democracy against us.
You think Christians have comparable access to litigation, political correctness and tolerance under Sharia Law??
In the ideological struggle of our lifetime, it's the one with the most committed fighters that will prevail. And sadly to say, it appears as if we've already surrendered.
bttt
At least there is one silver lining. The current process does more to punish the innocent and treat Americans like the enemy in their own country, than it does to prevent terrorists and people trying to go to Cuba (remember that phase?).
The questions would be, 1. How do we defend ourselves from terrorists on airplanes; 2. How does government recover from the drug of spending and actually try not to spend the TSA budget elsewhere?
Ivan, check out this article.
As we become more willingly blind, and blank out all to 9/11/01, we see no colors, our choice seems to only white, the white of our surrender flag. That is victory to those that are bored with liberty and freedom!!!!!!
I'm afraid we haven't seen anything yet. The pretend Republicans *have* kept us safer than the real democrats will. Why else has the enemy been thrilled about the results of the election?
bump for later
I would like to think that I would have shot the bastards.
Five years after Sept. 11, 2001, political correctness appears to be a more powerful force in our country than the safety and security of American citizens.
You got that right...
Political correctness is going to get us all killed.
BINGO
Typical of the arrogance of Muslims who are deluded with the fascist notion that they are superior to the nonbelievers, these people are demanding the right to shout 'FIRE' in a crowded theater. They should be banned from future flights on any domestic airlines. Since they are so fond of whining, the least we can do is give them something to whine about.
"Most Americans don't pre-judge Muslims as terrorists."
What??? I do, until I hear otherwise from prominent muslim organizations taking the side of the USA. Until I hear muslims pledge their oath of loylaty to the US, they are under suspicion.
Islam - and I won't couch this in PC weasel words "radical islam" - is a clear and present danger to the US and the West, a Trojan Horse that we have allowed through the gates under the pretext of "freedom of religion".
The line has been drawn in the sand, and those who fail to understand truth, correct principles reality, and the wisdom of the founding fathers will ultimately find themselves on the wrong side of the line, where even being in the majority will not be of value.
Only 30% of the citizens during the Revolution, were the backbone. The remaining were traitors, and those drug along for the ride fearful of King George and his army, or just fearful of change. Luke warm at best, and actively against at worse.
Sadly the percentages don't seem to change over time. Truth does not change.
If they do sue let them explain why they asked for and then disgarded seatbelt extensions.
These types should be discriminated against as much as possible until such time as none are allowed to remain in the U.S. except under lock and key.
Someone please tell the Imams that the real God can hear them without their rear in the air.
