please, if Newt wants to run, he will be a factor. The guy is a brilliant mind and just because he says something critical about the administration doesn't make him an idiot.
There is a fairly large number of people who seem to be more in the grip of a GW Bush personality cult than have any conservative ideology.
Newt is stating the obvious. What is going on now is not working all that well, and we need to admit that before we can rethink the strategy to win (*not* withdrawal).
He is a has-been and a never-will-be-again. Too bad since I kinda like the guy. His political potential is only slightly above that of John Kerry and is dropping fast.
