Yes, I believe so. Yesterday there was news about him (Brownback) running.

I have a hard time viewing Lou Dobbs as a conservative. I don't know a lot about the man, and I appreciate his concern for the border, but what are his conservative bonafides?

I think it's a stretch to call McCain a "liberal". Yes, he disagrees with many Freepers on immigration. But one issues does not a conservative make. He is pro-life, not a flaming anti second ammendment guy, has been anti-pork for years, supports a strong military, is a proud vet.

Compare and contrast with Hillary, someone who *is* actually a liberal. I don't see a whole lot in common.

So while Tancredo would be an interesting choice (I hope he runs to liven up the race) I don't think your take on McCain is correct.

Don't forget his forget his anti-constitutional actions concerning the filibustering of judicial nominees, or his campaign finance reform measures.
