As near as I can figure, we have between now and January 21st to do something significant, otherwise it is over for these Christians.

One thing we can do is write to President Bush and let him know how we feel. http://www.savekosovo.org has a good site for this and that's a start.

But we need something dramatic, like a protest that gets some news coverage.

Serbian forces began an 'ethnic cleansing' campaign against up to half of Kosovo's ethnic Albanians in 1999 triggering a NATO bombing campaign that drove Serb forces from the province. Some 800,000 people fled to Albania, Macedonia and Montenegro and approximately 10,000 died in the conflict

It is a lie! Albanians fled AFTER the NATO bombing started. And this "approximately 10,000" who "died in the conflict" included thousands of Serbs killed by NATO bombs.

How can the Serbs fight back? The UN demanded that all Serb soldiers leave Kosovo as part of UN Resolution 1244, and security was taken over by NATO and the UN. Virtually all the fighting-age Serb men who stayed were either kidnapped or killed. That left unarmed women, children and old people to defend themselves, and how can they do that against UN soldiers AND the Albanian mafia.

The fact is that the internationals want the remaining Serbs to leave Kosovo because it makes it easier to give in to the Albanian demands for independence.
