Pelosi's fault.
I'm going out to look at my garden now. All we're getting is radishes, but the spinach, collards and turnips are coming along slowly but surely.
I look at the fresh produce at the grocery store and think "Gross." I hate canned, but that's what we're eating till the garden produces.
We just finished off the last of our tomatoes...I brought the green ones in before the first frost and they all turned red and tasted just fine.
"saying the melons potentially are contaminated with salmonella."
Firstly: You can recall cantaloupes?
Secondly: Melons can have salmonella?
That just sounds odd to me. But live and learn, I guess.
What's next..Spaghetti Squash?
Looks like we're on our way to completely decimating the entire domestic product industry. Then we can import ALL our vegetables from overseas.
I just do not buy anything grown in mexico.
How is it that we can find a few inbound, contaminated cantaloupes from Mexico (as we found a few inbound, contaminated grapes from Chile--pronounced 'chee-lay' per Dan Rather & Tom Brokenjaw--some years back that brought Gen Pinochet out into the streets of Santiago begging other countries to resume imports) BUT we CANNOT, try as we may, discover little more than a nano-fraction of the tons of imported illegal narcotics pouring in?
