One of the dems favorite argument against the RKBA is that the 2d Ammendment only protects a 'collective right' to KBA exercised through the national guard.
If one buys this argument then one should also agree that the 1st Ammendment free speech could also be 'collective right' exercised through National Public Radio.
The purpose of the Second is to protect the First. Think of it as democracy's dead-man switch.

Hopefully, SCOTUS will do their job this time (as they did not, in the case of McCain/Feingold), and keep democracy alive.
The ADL and the Brady Campaign have teamed up in the past. Expect them to do so in the future
And, the ADL says very little towards those groups who attack Israel and call them "nazis"
