In the mafia these types are known as "clean faces" seemingly upright fronts for really terrible behavior. I never heard the term, clean faces, before. I'll remind myself to use the analogy sometime.

No surprises here. Casey looks to be a bigger phony than Lieberman.

Are there any laws so blatantly unfair as hate crime laws? A crime is a crime, delineating it as a crime of hate is ridiculous. Not to mention, these "hate crimes" encapsulate otherwise protected free speech. Telling someone what they are doing is wrong is all of a sudden a crime b/c the person in the wrong is gay/black/woman/NonWhiteStraightProtestantMale?
It is getting out of control.

But Casey Jr. is supported Bishop James Clifford Timlin and Bishop Martino!
These Bishops turned against old reliable Santorum when it came to Pro Life and turned their support to Casey Jr. because Bishop Timlin is a person friend of the Casey Family!

YES, when it that going to be tested in our Supreme Court?
This looks like a clear violation of the "equal protection" clause.
Under "hate crimes" legislation...the moron who dragged a black man to death behind his car would get a more severe penalty then the illegal alien who did the same to his ex girlfriend. Same crime, same horrible end for each victim, but different verdicts????
Where's the justice in that?

Just more proof that the left wing congress will only last two years. They can't stop their war against God.

So is abortion a "hate crime?" No, killing your unborn baby is a "private decision" that should be given about as much consideration as what to wear when you get dressed in the morning, it is a "right" that the "bioethicists" are hoping you will soon have to kill any child or infirmed relative whose life is "inconvenient" to you.

I hope those suckers at Catholic University are happy they gave Bobby a forum to speak and gain legitimacy as a Catholic candidate. The guy is a wolf in sheep's clothing and always was. The homosexual activists' #1 priority was defeating Rick Santorum and they helped to recruit Casey to deliberately fool Catholic voters.
Some of us are not going to take this lying down. I am talking to some PA conservatives about starting a "Casey Watch" organization.

"People knew they were liberals and voted for them anyway."
Not in PA, the Home of the Brain Dead Voter (not to mention the dead and buried ones.) My brother and sister-in-law are Reagan Democrats, never changed their registration, but have been voting Republican since then. 4 yrs. ago they tried to convince us to vote for Rendell because Catherine Baker Knoll is a neighbor of her mother. This time it was to not only vote for Rendell, but vote for Casey because "he is just as pro-life, pro-NRA, and conservative as Santorum" whom they had previously supported. Some people wanted desperately to be fooled so they could return to the good old days of voting straight "D."
