I am not sure that we should risk on someone who can't even win an election. 2008 is way too important for risks. I would rather him wait until after 2008 and get the job. I want someone who is strong within the Republican party and get the job done. This individual whoever it ends up is going to have to raise an unprecedented amount of money to at least equal what Hillary is going to have and already has way ahead of the election. If others think I am way off then explain it to me. I like Steele so if I have this wrong or looking at it wrong I can DEFINITELY change my position of this.

Maryland is not a Republican state. He did much better than anyone ever thought he would.

His Grandfather and Father were Muslim and he spent some time attending a Muslim school. He also spent some time in Catholic school.
You must make the call for yourself.

These three counties pretty much DO run Maryland, or at least its politics.

Cardin did get a lot of black votes, but it remains that if more whites had voted steele he could hav won Steele took a large percent of black votes. The librals in Montgomery county carried the ball for Cardin I believe.

White House moves the past year (Tony Snow excepted) have not been of the smart variety. So I'm not holding my breath. If they don't offer it to Steele they are idiots.

How conservative is Steele? I really don't know many of his true policy positions. (I heard Ken Mel. is a homosexual and the base who knew this was a tad upset)

Barrak Hussein Obama....the media is pushing him based on his looks and nothing else. Typical lamestream media, no substance, no interest in substance, just shallow shilling for dems and full-blown scorched earth for pubbies.

Michael Steele is the perfect candidate for Mehlman's job.
I'd give up dinner for a week to see him in a head-to-head debate with howie dean. I'm sorry. That visual alone is a riot. And I mean seriously folks, is there any doubt in your minds as to who would win?
To: ilovew
As I said each must base their feelings on that on their own. He IS liberal. Thats enough to make me look the other way.
