These are 'Rats were are talking about. Two things to remember about 'Rats. First, when it comes to hypocrisy, finding that among 'Rats is like finding that the sun comes up in the morning. Second, follow the money. With 'Rats, it is all about money. Power follows from that.

These Unions dont send money to where it will help them. They send money where the Democrats tell them to send it.
They vote the way the democrats tell them to vote.
I spoke to a major democrat player today about the election and he was gloating. I told him if the flagpole we were standing under had run on the democrats ticket he would have voted for it, and that any Marylander who voted against Ehrlich who got us out of a 3 Billion dollar deficit, and voted for O'Malley who couldnt even run a Baltimore school system he was a dumb as that flagpole.

I wasnt bothered by him rest of the day

What should we expect from liberals, er I mean progressives, or whatever they are calling themselves these days? Demagogue about unions, ethics, civility, what a joke.

A reporter from the Napa Valley returned my call today and left me a message. I was trying to get some background about the vineyard and thought the local paper could help. this guy wanted to do a story about the vineyard. They refuse to talk about anything. What do you think are the chances that Nancy has hired illegal aliens to pick grapes?

from THE AMERICAN THINKER

Pelosi's illegal alien employees

Remember Linda Chavez? She had to withdraw from consideration for a cabinet post because one of her employees was an illegal alien. So how about Nancy Pelosi, who would be third in line for succession if she becomes Majority Leader?

Investors Business Daily brings us the following information about her family-owned vineyard.

As Peter Schweizer notes in his best-selling expose of liberal hypocrisy, “Do As I Say (Not As I Do),” part of the fortune of this defender of the working man is a Napa Valley vineyard worth $25 million that she owns with her husband. The vineyard produces expensive grapes for high-end wines. Napa grapes bring up to $4,000 a ton compared with $300 a ton for, say, San Joaquin grapes.

But Pelosi, winner of the 2003 Cesar Chavez award from the United Farm Workers, hires only nonunion workers and sells these grapes to nonunion wineries. [....]

Which makes Pelosi’s steadfast opposition to any attempts to enhance border security and stem the flow of illegal immigration into the U.S. all the more interesting since she seems to be among those rich employers who financially benefit from a steady supply of cheap foreign labor. [....]

Nor has Pelosi been a fan of employer sanctions against the hiring of illegal aliens. In 2003, she accused immigration officers of conducting “terrorizing raids” on Wal-Mart stores that led to the arrest of more than 300 illegal aliens.

Loraine Stewart, a farmworker advocate with Napa Valley Community Housing, in a 2004 San Francisco Chronicle article estimated that half of the migrant labor force in the valley consisted of undocumented workers, without whom “not one bottle of wine would get made here.”

Read the whole thing to get a picture of the actual practices of this wealthy hypocritical liberal. Aside from IBD, none of the major press seems the least bit interested in this scandal.

Nancy Pelosi and her husband own a Napa Valley vineyard that’s worth about $25 million. They grow very expensive grapes for very expensive wines, and they don’t use members of the United Farm Workers to pick their grapes.

Don't care that they don't use unions either, the unionists can bite Satan for all I care.

However, if it is possible to trace this grape juice to a specific label beyond any reasonable doubt a boycott is in order, research has begun.

Growers sell to many vintners, so the wine may not really be the point - it may be that she has illegals doing the work.

Seems to me, it would only take ONE illegal worker in Nancy's Nest to bring her down as speaker.

Click to be +/- on this low volume wine ping list.

Oenology news ping.

Not that I'm asking, but I dearly hope you have a concealed carry permit. (And an appropriately large caliber pistol.)

Something tells me with you're not making many friends among the Fort Marcy Park types. Not that being a friend to a dem has ever made one bullet proof.

Stay safe DFU, you're doing true yeoman's work and we can't afford to lose you.

The star is the center of St. Martin, CA. Somewhere on Zinfandel Lane is Pelosi's vineyard

Rove should have been making adverts based on "Do As I Say..."
instead of running around with that grin before the elections.
(and that's said with all due respect for Rove's otherwise great record)
