There we disagree. It was about the only smart thing the man ever did. If you're not talking to bad guys, nobody cares. Trust me. Not to reveal too much, but they have huge computer programs that listen for certain words and combinations of words in many different languages. If you're not saying things like "my suicide bomber belt is too tight. I need a larger size" they ARE NOT LISTENING. The computer doesn't pick up discussions about Aunt Mabel's cherry pie recipe. Think for just a second about the huge, huge amount of telephone traffic there is. They can't listen in to all of it. They don't have the time or the resources. Nobody is listening in on your conversations unless you're talking terrorist stuff. The point is to catch these guys before more people die, perhaps lots and lots of people.

I see these libs, they think there are a bunch of CIA & FBI guys sitting around listening in to all our conversations. They have no clue it's a computer program that detects certain words.
