I'm not convinced the average American knows how illegal immigration has an affect on them personally. Start telling them about healthcare costs, etc. and they'll start to care. Seems the only people in AZ who are truly passionate about illegals are the ones who live on the border- and deal with it every day of their lives.
No they aren't. Arizona is flaming California. Even a great GOP giant like Hayworth can't win here. But Fox just said Bush welcomes the possibility of comprehensive reform now that the house is Democrat.
Why don't we just dissolve the freaking border.

I doubt it. They won't care until it actually DOES effect them personally. Just wait...now that the rats have some power, the borders will be wide open for the terrorists and illegals to flood in. Then they'll care.

It would do our country good if those people would get up off their couches and get informed, but they prefer to stare at the tube and absorb...
In Tucson, the largest high school was rallied by one of the teachers (who proclaimed he would give them "civics" credit for it) into the march, waving their Mexican flags and shouting "Viva La Raza!", and the school buses picked up the kids afterwards. No one was fired for that.
