I seem to recall Reagan lost his bid to be President a few times before he finally won nomination. And that it was the Rockfeller's that insisted on Bush 41 as a running mate. Conservatives were the ones that supported Reagan. The so called "Extreme Right Wing" which, btw, I find it amazing that sort of talk is used on a conservative site.

When you look at the results tomorrow, I think you're going to see that these "real true" conservatives" we're been hearing about for years -- you know, "If the GOP would run a REAL conservative, they'd win? -- lost.
