A"Democratic-led judiciary committees would launch oversight hearings on the Justice Department's conduct in the war on terrorism, looking at everything from secret searches and wiretaps to how the FBI treats whistle blowers. Would-be Senate Chairman Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., says he also would hold hearings on abuse of terrorism detainees and on war profiteering."
The last two weeks all the traitors went into hiding for fear they would be found out for what they are.
We do need to offer our sincere thanks to John Forbes Kerry for giving us yet another peek as to why the Democrats shouldn't be given the responsibility to protect this nation.
We should hold hearings on abuse of terrorism fighters and war profiteering.
Not at all. Pelosi said impeachment was not a priority with her - she didn't mention invesgtigations.
....and we will lose rights - and income.
I dont believe so> Leahy is just aying what he intends to do. Pelosi intends to do the same thing but she is lying about her stance. Thats one of the reasons she wnet into hiding.
By the time the Democrats spend two years doing nothing but impotent and aggravating investigations and spending good mone paying asswipes like Fitzgerald , the republicans will have no problem taking back the country, If there is a country left after cut and run.
Wholeheartedly agree. I'll be voting early and often.
>>And in the town of Brattleboro the dumbass selectmen are talking about instituting a Meals/Rooms extra % tax!!
Taxes that largely affect those who can't vote in local elections are often popular among pols. Of course, they don't care that it hurts hotel/restaurant owners, there aren't many of them.
On that note, on an open forum I'm on, where we go back and forth with the Lefties, one of the most rabid Dem/socialists is a guy driving a very high-end, top of the line, $80k German sedan. And he even gets annoyed when we call him on his limousine liberalism!
You just answered you're own question. Half a brain votes democrat.
We're in a world of Sh#t
Support the terrorists! Stay at home, or better yet, vote Democrat!
Did any of you see the Fox News special on radical Islam last night? I didn't see the whole thing but I wish they would show it on the regular Fox station. I didn't need to be convinced of the threat but the threat is beyond what the msm tells us. If a person would actually just think back to Jimmy Carter a DEMOCRAT, instead of thinking of high gas prices, remember that it was him that handed Iran over to the Ayatollahs. The radicals then kidnapped Americans and it was Ronald Reagan's election that got them back. It was Ronald Reagan that slapped down Kaddafy, without apology and neutered him. When Clinton became President the sh!t hit the fan again, and NOTHING WAS DONE. Which just emboldened the terrorists. We know that 9/11 wasn't planned in just 8 months, it took years of planning. GW has fought back, even with his hands tied by the Dems. With the Dems having any power, again the sh!t is going to hit the fan. The pattern is clear as can be. We will be screwed and it will be too late to do anything. How in the world can people vote for a party that is actually worried about the rights of the terrorist who want to kill us???? The republican party is far from perfect, but, the alternative is a death sentence.
They are taking their cues from the Vietnam playbook: inflict a defeat abroad and blame it on the Republicans and try to impeach a Republican President.
Everyone on this forum should realize these hearings will be designed to find evidence of "high crimes and misdemeanors". The Dems will then say they are "shocked" by what they have uncovered and have no choice but to impeach.
Frankly, if they win and they try this BS, I hope Bush suspends habeas and throws their asses in jail until January 2009.
Patrick Leahy needs to be tried for Treason.
Low-life scumbag.
(Is "scumbag" one word or two?)
