I believe they were visiting the haunted house, but I didn't think they lived there. I had heard that there were kids from both Poly and Jordan schools at the location (long time rivals), but that may be irrelavent. As you pointed out, this is a beautiful area, not by any means the "bad" part of town.

I just got home from an appointment at my attorney's home around the block from the location of the beating, and as it boggles the mind that this could have happened there.
