I was young at the time, but I remember how often the Rodney King beating played on television in the nineties. It was obviously played for political reasons and only part of it was shown. (again and again) Now Kerry's tasteless comment seems to be the new Rodney King footage of 2006. I could never cast my vote for Kerry, but politics as usual comes from the left and the right.
