No doubt he now wishes he hadn't said it. I think he meant what he said.

Sorry, you miss the mark there. I simply try to look at things logically. I am wrong a lot of the time though. In this case, I simply think Kerry is stubborn, obnoxious, bigoted against the military, made a slip of the tong and said something he really believes but did not mean to say and now refuses to apologize for it. I think the Dems are going to be hurt by it, and I hope the Republicans make good use of the opportunity.
