Still the Interior Ministry described the night as "relative calm," noting that up to 100 cars are torched by youths in troubled neighborhoods on an average night.

Amazing.

Unemployment is still a major obstacle for French minorities a year after riots ravaged poor suburbs

Unemployment is a major obstacle for French young people period. But most don't torch cars over it.

"Then send them the hell back to any Islamic country that will accept them."

Islamic countries don't accept responsibility and trouble. They prefer to export trouble.

Besides, this is a French problem. They colonized these countries and allowed mass migration to France decades ago without proper integration or assimilation programs. Then, there is a minor or shall I say major problem with French arrogance and superiority complex. The French don't even like their own European counterparts, let alone their ex colonies.

There are many reasons why Paris is burning. The French need to open their eyes and find a decent solution; this isn't simply a Muslim or a law & order issue.

Round up these punks, put them on a cargo jet, fly them to Africa and put them off in the middle of the Sharia desert.Of course don't tell anyone.

<< Are you drunk? >>

Please accept my sympathy for your condition. It must be quite a worry for you and your pronounced pathological projection place an even greater burden upon you?

As for me, I, thank God that I don't drink and never have.

Nor do I take any thing or any one, especially me, seriously.

Works for me and you aught try it.

(Meanwhile I have long had your every wonderful image saved, next to most of Mia's, in my 'best of' files!)

Best ones - Brian

Hmmmm, I wonder how many French political "leaders" have received bank transfers from the Middle East during the last two years? The French politicians sure have responded weakly to all the burning of vehicles.

Plus I wonder how many French politicians have vacation apartments in Muslim countries, stocked with young people of their sexual preference?

If nutcases start torching 300+ cars every night in the U.S., the adults will put an abrupt stop to such nonsense.

Like we did in the LA riots?

Like we did during the NYC Crown Heights riots?

The Muslims in France are as high a percentage of the French population as Blacks are of the US population

This is the image you'd get on quite a few French/Tunisian blogs.

I was thinking more about "discrete" compounds in Saudi Arabia

From what I've read on some French blogs, Saudi Arabia isn't in the picture. Though, I understand that the Saudi upper classes have their own amusements.

Btw - most North Africans and especially Tunisians do not like the Saudis at all.

That could be happening too. The weak response of French politicians indicates some level of corruption.

And the police and the society accept this? Good grief! Those frogs need to buy a clue.

AP is improving. They actually used the word Muslims, and in the fourth paragraph at that. When will the M word make it to the headlines in the mainstream press?
