Ummm, not that I support him, but they're NOVELS.A Tale of Two Cities is a novel. Conspicuously absent from it are any depictions of a character fellating his preteen son.

You look though enough of the literature and you will find some rather stranger stuff. Check the Pardoner's Tale in Canterbury Tales.
