This may be a good thing for the Somali ladies.

Some years ago, I was involved in staffing our unit in Mogadiscio (Italian spelling), and I read in the State Department Post Report that going to the beach there can be very dangerous. There is an abbatoir nearby, and the runoff went directly into the ocean near the beaches. Blood in the water plus the sharks in the water is not a good mixture, and Somali citizens were regularly "disappeared."
