you seriously need to calm down and stop worrying about every single thing. in my opinon if someone was going to blow up 7 packed stadiums, they
1, wouldnt be announcing it
2, wouldnt be announcing it on the friends society website
Nice try but I hardly think I am guilty of worrying about "every single thing." lol No, quite the opposite.
I simply feel that not enough creative thought has gone into the very real vulnerability that a packed stadium presents given the current war on terror (assuming that you aren't one of those who insists that we really aren't engaged in such a war) How many times have you heard that our real failure pre-9/11 was a failure to think creatively as to how the terrorists might attack?
Secondly, there is at least one incident that indicates terrorists might be planning something of this nature. Just over a year ago a young man strapped explosives on his back and blew himself up outside a packed Oklahoma stadium. The FBI quickly ruled this to be a suicide totally unrelated to terrorism, even though Hinrichs was involved in the same Norman, Oklahoma mosque as some of the 9/11 terrorists, and his Algerian roommate had a plane ticket to get out of Dodge the next day. Forgive me for being just a little skeptical.
By the way, your post indicates that my concern (not "worry" as you put it) resulted from this bogus threat. Well, you're just plain wrong. My concerns came from the apparent AQ warnings about Ramadan, dirty bombs, specific cities, and I just did the math and saw this Sunday's games as a potential target. BTW just how many muslims attend such sporting events? my guess is not very many
Well, gotta run. Still have some windows to duct tape and a fallout shelter to build. lol
