BREAKING ON CNN
Impossible. The NFL has made recent changes to ensure that the early and late games almost never overlap.
BUMP
Carr actually looks pretty good this year. You could've used Reggie Bush though.

i just don't see it. Going into Titans games, they pat EVERYONE down. There are bariers to keep a vehicle from getting close to the stadium. How are they going to get a dirty bomb in, sneack it in under Bud Adams' toupee?
Bears have the bye this week, I guess them terrorist scum didn't want to deal with Urlacher and Co.
So is it safe to panic?
I wasn't quite sure what that meant either. Simultaneous...but a 4:15 game on the East Coast and a 1:00 game on the West Coast would be "almost simultaneous" wouldn't it? But according to this week's schedule there are no 1:00 games in the West Coast.
Carolina at Cincinnati 1:00 p.m.
Detroit at N.Y. Jets 1:00 p.m.
Green Bay at Miami 1:00 p.m.
Jacksonville at Houston 1:00 p.m.
New England at Buffalo 1:00 p.m.
Philadelphia at Tampa Bay 1:00 p.m.
Pittsburgh at Atlanta 1:00 p.m.
San Diego at Kansas City 1:00 p.m.
Denver at Cleveland 4:05 p.m.
Arizona at Oakland 4:15 p.m.
Minnesota at Seattle 4:15 p.m.
Washington at Indianapolis 4:15 p.m.
I don't think anything will happen, BUT if I see funny acting Arab men wearing Steeler's garb... One thing I remember- before 9/11, there was chatter, but it was assumed something was going to happen overseas. Another thing- this current threat may be like that telephone game- it is somehow related to the American Hiroshima threat of the past few years.
This is what doesn't pass the smell test - Depending on the speed of the game, a game with a one o'clock kick could be over for a half hour before the four o'clock (actually 4:05 or 4:15) games even start.
Unless they want to blow up an empty stadium for some reason...
Elisabeth, if I had tickets to one of the games, I would go.
"So this isn't a new thing..."
OPINION: I agree.
Generally speaking, it's not a new thing and stadium security has been getting better as time passes.
This is very doubtful....according to ABC and CNN both, the feds are really not thinking this is credible at all.
I think a dirty bomb is the only way Indy won't be Washington.
Miami, New York, Atlanta, Seattle, Houston, Oakland and Cleveland
(Here's the info you were looking for, in case it hasn't been listed yet - this is a long thread)
"remember Oklahoma U? If they hadn't turned that guy around with the backpack..."
