McCain is an absolute no-lose situation for the MSM.

They know he splits the GOP base - either sending conservatives to a third party if he wins the nomination, or sending the mushy middle that way if he doesn't. In all, he is the perfect candidate for the Beast to face if she wants a return ticket to 1600 PA.

And, if by some miracle he would look like he might win it, they'll simply regurgitate Keating 5, his fondness for the word "gooks", or something else to destroy him.

If McCain is the GOP nominee, Hillary waltzes back to the WH, IMHO.
