After interviewing some 40 former congressional pages, FBI agents have yet to turn up any evidence of direct sexual contact between underage pages and former Congressman Mark Foley.
Instead, according to law enforcement officials and several former pages, a pattern is emerging of seduction by Foley that began when the boys were 16 and 17. In cases where actual sex followed, it was not until the boys were at the legal age of 18.

"Still sick if Foley used the page program as a recruiting center for future sex partners. Kind of like a President using the intern program for sex partners."
Couldn't agree more. Indoctrination, softening the opinions of young people over time, for the homosexual agenda is sick. And does as much damage to kids as the eventual molestation does. Congress, schools, makes no difference, it's sick.

And when they realized they weren't minors, they started referring to them as "teeagers." Of course that accurate, but they did it to create an image that Foley was preying on children.

I noticed one of our local T.V. stations wanted to make sure they could string the story out longer by saying that he sent emails to "teens", instead of underage teens.
It's UNBELIEVABLE how much play this story is getting! Well, on second thought... No it's not, cuz the dork's a Republican!

Maybe the FBI should investigate whether any of the Congressional websites were compromised by their ISP providers.

Good points. I don't see anything illegal in what he did, but it is nonetheless wrong. I also hope people don't assume the pages he hit on are all gay.

"FBI Yet to Find Evidence of Foley-Page Sexual Contact" Instead of simply using the word "NO", they act as if they is evidence somewhere.

Toss up rumor and innuendo and let the compliant and hysterical 24/7 media take it from there. You hit the nail on the head. The word pedofile is being used over and over, even in political humor. It seems like journalists are using it because they think conservatives have a problem with it while they really could care less if every politician devoted significant energy and effort to hitting on college freshman of the same sex as long as one consenting Democrat was involved.
This is kind of like us talking about Zell Miller being for the war. It drives them crazy.

Actually, you may have a point for media bias in general too. Since he is a "celebrity," the rules for libel/slander say there must be malice, IIRC. There is nothing but malice against Repubs in media coverage, day after day.

I don't like it, but to be fair why don't we start checking into the sexual habits and pickup lines of every homosexual Demoncrat in congress? I keep wondering why, while they're at it, they just don't ask whether any congressman (or woman) has made sexual advances. Otherwise, they might just find them doing this all over again and over again . . .
