If the 'Rats win control, EVERY day will seem like Friday the 13th.

Every conservative should take this into consideration when deciding whether to stay home on November 7!

As speaker of the House, the chamber's top job, Pelosi would be second in succession to the presidency after the vice president under U.S. law.

Whoa! now there's a scary thought.

...and I wouldnt put it past em to "see to it" that that happens...

If the democrat win the House (big if) it will be a very slim majority less (3 vote majority) that they will not be able to do anything in the House. The Congress will be crippled and President Bush will have even more power than he has now. However we are going to keep both the House and the Senate.

I got news for Nancy Dearest. If the dems win the House, Bush will NOT be listening to you. He will be using you to prove how much of a conservative is actually is since he can triangulate between you and the liberals in the Senate. And as far as bring back 'civility'??? If you are in charge, you are finally going to be civil to the GOP? Why not start now and prove you aren't a liar?

She has vowed to clean up the way Congress does business in the wake of a wave of influence-peddling scandals

Gee, that will mean she will be the only dim left in congress and won't throw herself out.

If Pelosi became Speaker, I bet you'd see unprecedented GOP turnout in 2008. Particularly if Hillary got the nod.

If you were speaker, Duyba still doesn't have to do a damn thing. He's president until Newt and Allen take over in '08.

I think she meant to say: "If We're in Charge Bush will finally use that veto pen."
