Carter's Amnesia
IBD ^ | Oct. 11, 2006 | IBD

Diplomacy: Former President Carter claims his brilliant peacemaking had it all solved in North Korea until George W. Bush's warmongering ruined it. He's forgetting a decade's worth of communist cheating.

Our 39th president, during whose tenure the Soviets invaded Afghanistan and Islamofascists came to power in Iran, was preaching on foreign policy Wednesday from the pulpit of the op-ed page of the New York Times.

According to Carter, "it is unlikely that the North Koreans will back down (from their nuclear weapons program) unless the United States meets this basic demand" — a declaration that we have no hostile intent toward North Korea.

The U.S. giving in to bloodthirsty tyrants: For Carter and congressional Democrats, that's always the answer that will bring us world peace.

That's why we must do everything to keep the Dems from taking over Congress and engage in foreign policy that is likely to kill us.

Every time I see carter's name, I get the acrid bile come up into my esophagus. His only worth in the world is how we would not like this country to collapse to. He is the baseline of failure and no one wants to go there, except other hedonistic moral failures themselves. His ideal of better presidenital, whitehouse management of the consuming cabinet reports is to take a speed reading course, not have good appointees. He was too busy tracking that jackass brother who was cutting deals with Khadafi. I could go on but I think this covers it for now. The bile has slowly disapated.

Carter is a prime example, followed by Carter of how much damange a single human being can do in a position of power.

I have Carter to thank for me becoming a Reagan Republican. The only thing he knew how to do was make this country hang its head in shame. I will always remember this weak fool and his inability to deal with the hostage situation that made us a laughing stock in the mid-east.

Why is it that only Democrat EX-presidents think we care what the hell they think AFTER they are out of office AND AFTER they screwed up the country?!

Only a naive fool and idiot would believe that will be Kimmy boys only demand.

But then we are talking about Jimmah.

Jimmah might well be the dumbest person in existence. After his landslide loss to Reagan he should have figured he was at -100 on the legacy number line. His solution: sprint to the east at full speed, and never stop.

BTTT!!!!!!!! I'm so mad I could spit nails at the Dems and how they care more about their political aspirations than the security of our country and the world at large!

Poor ol' Jimmah, still suffering PTSD from the KRI (Killer Rabbit Incident), bless his heart.

Carter is an idiot stooge for the left and a worn-out sock puppet for the DNC.

Hmmm, is this the guy who refused to back the Shah of Iran and instead supported some crazy damn religious guy, a guy known as Ayatollah Khomeini? Is this the guy who is the FATHER of the Iranian terror camps? Is this that maroon?

Naaaah, Carter couldn't have been that stoooopid, or could he?

It's so nice to see that Carter seems unphased by his labotomy. In all this world there's only one person that I'd guess might be a tad bit more ignorant than Jimmy, and it's his wife.

We're very lucky he didn't get a chance to name members of the SCOTUS. His federal judge appointments have been bad enough.

I stopped on the History Channel tonight, during "This day in
History". It was on Carter's Nobel prize. They quoted some
Norwegian pol: "Best American ex-president ever".

In keeping with consumer protection laws, THC should rename
itself "The Revisionist History Channel".

Who owns them, CBS/Viacom?
