The U.S. is NOT "pestering" them about anything. It is RUSSIA and CHINA who should be "pestering" them since their country borders on theirs. hahahaha, sorry, but this sounded funny to me. How will South Korea prepare their ground troops for a nuclear war, have them sit in their prefab caskets and wait for the explosion? I think it's a far better option to strike N. Korea first, and let them worry about how to prepare their troops for nuclear bombs. Why do we need to be struck by a nuke before we attack Kim Il? The man is all but telling us the day and hour of his nuclear attack against the South. I believe he means what he says.

From this report, early indications are Japan's new PM, Shinzo Abe is going to be a strong voice among leaders of the free world. Whereas we have no trade with North Korea, Japan did until this test. I like these excerpts from the article:

North Korean nationals are also prohibited from entering Japan, with limited exceptions, the Cabinet Office said in a statement released after an emergency security meeting late Wednesday.

"We cannot tolerate North Korea's actions if we are to protect Japanese lives and property," Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said after an emergency security meeting late Wednesday. "These measures were taken to protect the peace."

A total ban on imports and ships could be disastrous for North Korea, whose produce such as clams and mushroom earns precious foreign currency on the Japanese market. Ferries also serve as a major conduit of communication between the two countries, which have no diplomatic relations.
