The Agreed Framework did not end North Korea's aspirations for nuclear weapons, but it did result in a major delay.

No it did not. It just made them create a parallel program. Mean time the resources given to them to do MORE, not less. How lame is this defense of Clinton. Clinton didn't even demand that NK transfer the rods from their main reactor to a third party, as was part of the agreement.

America had better stop calling the terrorist names! They are going to get real mad at us! Look what Bush did when he called N Korea an "axis of evil" and then called Kim names! Now they are testing nuclear weapons, and it is all Bush's fault!

This is like saying, don't tell the pedophiles to stop raping the children, they will only get mad and rape more of our children!

What a stupid, warped liberal dummycrat. This is a perfect example of why Americans cannot allow Democrats to gain any more power in this Country, and cannot be trusted with the security of our great Nation! This kind of thinking, or the lack thereof, is why we are in the situation with N Korea, and with Iran!

If there was ever a reason for registering, and voting this November - it is crap like this out of the Democratic liberal socialist wacko's mouths.

Apeasement DOES NOT WORK LIBERALS

One fact remains clear...if Clinton, Albright, Carter hadn't given the North Koreans that nuclear technology plus the $4 billion to get them started in their quest to destroy America...Kim Jon-Il would not have any bombs to test or threaten its neighbors (Japan, South Korea, China).

Clearly - it's Clinton's fault.

So the author admits Clinton's Agreed Framework was a failure but insists it slowed down Li'l Kim's nuke program by switching him from plutonium to uranium. It's just that Bush so disrespected the Chia pet that he just had to crank things up again.

I at least not that unlike the other article in yesterday's Post that this writer does not suggest with a straight face that all we need to do is just be nice to Kim and give him everything his little heart desires.

Disparaging remarks about Kim Jong Il? How, really does one disparage a human being, such as this. . .

. . .another, Reason-impaired Liberal gives witness to the toll of mind-numbing/judgment-eroding Political Correctness. . .

I wonder how many of the readers of the Washington Post realize that being the Secretary of Defense 1993 - 1997 means you were Clinton’s Secretary of Defense and, therefore, have a reason to blame someone else for the majot military crises facing us today?

klintoon and his demons are so demented and so inept that they believe to this day that the North Koreans told them the truth and everything was hunky dory... except allbright and 'toon were warned in a 1999 CIA report that North Korea had violated their agreement from the moment it was signed, and processed fuel rods in a parallel program. In 1999, the CIA stated that they had between 2 and 3 devices with more being made. BOTH REUFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE REPORT AND IGNORED THE REPORT... JUST LIKE THE PDA ON bin laden!

Someone posted this report here yesterday!

LIARS, LIARS, LIARS!!!!!!

Kim Jong Il and the Democrats spout the same line of direct talks between the US and North Korea.

For now at least, there's wide agreement on sanctions against North Korea, not the Clinton Debacle, Part 2.

Does the Washington Post get their columns from the DU or does the DU get their talking points from the Washingto Post.

That is the question.
