SWAT teams are a bigger danger to American citizens than the criminals they are supposed to be apprehending.SWAT teams ought to be illegal.SWAT teams are like having a rabid wolf for a guard dog.SWAT teams are composed of people with the mentality the press condemns in members of any other gun carrying group.Recently,I watched the SWAT officers suit up in black/gray BDUs and body armor to work crowd control detail at a music event shich consisted of a few thousand country western fans watching several bands .If there were any drunkards it should have been the city that was sued because they had a city sponsored beer garden, and if a tavern bartebder can be charged for serving over the limit, then so should the city.

Never trust the people in government;power attracts too many of the petty tyrants.

IMHO, there should always be a clear delineation between police and military. No longer do we have civilized policemen in pressed uniform. We now have overzealous cops who think they are special forces in black BDU's. I am a supporter of the police in most respects and believe 90% of them decent, however I believe there is law that states the military should not operate within our borders, unless there are foreign invaders (debatable). When you dress as most of these guys do, you blur the line between police and military, and this is just wrong.
Could they not have visited this game farm and asked to test the hogs? Why did they choose these tactics? My friend's deer and elk herd were killed because they found CWD in a farm he had bought from in the past about three states away. I understand the desire to cease the spread of disease through game farms, but surely there is a better way.
