Democrats' Hypocrisy Over Foley Matter
NewsMax.com ^ | Oct. 7, 2006 | David Limbaugh

Do you remember how many times during the Clinton years Democrats told us everyone lies about sex and that Republicans were shamefully distracting the Clinton administration by harping on White House cover-ups about sex with an intern?

Well, we have far worse distractions now being promoted by Democrats about far less important matters and during far more dangerous times.

When Clinton was president he lamented, "I just want to get back to the work of the American people." That deserves to be echoed by Democrats today, because we need to have a genuine debate on the issues that really matter – the war against the jihadists, the economy, marriage and abortion, and other vital issues – before the November elections.

Will Democrats, if they regain control of either – or both – houses of Congress, use their newfound majority to further stifle the president's prosecution of the war on terror? Will they de-fund our soldiers in Iraq and demand a timetable for withdrawal? Their incessant criticisms of Iraq being "the wrong war, wrong place, wrong time" imply that they would.

"the Democrats are unhinged in their Bush hatred, trying to parade under a false banner of being a "values" party themselves, and have no real political platform at all, except for opposing the Republicans on everything, most of all on the war on terror."

Ok folks. Foley is an idiot. This is not the first time a Republican has been caught in a homosexual tizzy. Congressman Bob Bauman from Maryland was arrested for soliciting sex from a 16 yr. old. The teen was supposedly a male prostitute. Bauman had 4 children and a wife. He blamed alcohol. He was not elected again by his constituents. He now heads up a lawyer firm handling off shore tax issues. He leads a homosexual life as I understand it. One thing in Foley's favor ( if there is anything). He did not feel the need to get a trophy wife and children
to project an image. Mc Greevey and Bauman were selfish enough to do that. They are cowards. Bauman did not resign.
His voters made the choice.

The democrats have done a great job of bringing their own past sexcapades to the news stations with this Foley thing, that's for sure. I'd never heard of the democrat homosexual congressman molesting the 17 year old page, let alone the democrats applauding and giving him a promotion because of it! That was news to me!
Pelosis marching in the homosexual Man /Boy love parade isn't a pretty story either.

The democrats are even worse than I thought, and I follow politics closely, too. Imagine the shock these revelations are bringing to the American voters. They've probably forgotten about Foley by now. Pictures of the democrats embracing predatory homo organizations have got to be dancing in their heads by now.

Hypocrisy?

The official Gay Pride program and line up 2001, featuring Nancy Pelosi revealing her "values" associated with "Man - Boy love"!?!?!?

I don't see NAMBLA on the invite list, but this is still bad since, Pelosi is now persecuting Foley and Hastert for not investigating non sexual emails!?

And for those who don't already know this, Pelosi endorsed Gerry Studds when he ran for reelection in 1983 after it had been revealed that he had had sex with a 17 year old boy page.

Pelosi's faux outrage and demands for Hastert's resignation would be laughable if they weren't so hypocritical!

I really am surprised to see the amount of gay bashing that the Democrat media is doing.

I think the left is throwing the gays overboard. They're like a big pimple on the democrat parties back, and the democrats want it popped.

You've got to be kidding! This thing is still flying high in the media, and talk about how "the Dems did it, too..." is not helping. I don't know any parents who are saying, "Well, if a Democratic congressman did it 23 years ago, then it's not really so bad that the Republican Chairman of the committee in charge of protecting children did it." What I'm seeing is a lot of family values voters getting pissed off that the Republican leadership apparently dropped the ball on this whole deal, and nobody's taking any responsibility for it, (except that Foley had the decency and common sense to immediately resign when the news came out.)

Which is WHY the democrats past is so important and why it's important the voters are reminded of them over and over. They reward perves. Republicans can them. It's like the difference between black and white.
Democrats embrace the sinners. Republicans boot them out. That's the message.

Kind of like the way dems treat minorities. Give us your votes and we'll throw you a few scraps here and there, but please go away until next election.

This should be shouted from the treetops.

I dont think playing the hypocrisy card against the dems on this issue will help. We must find out how the dems got the IMs and emails. If they obtained them illegally (A LA WATERGATE) in order to sway an election that would be most effective. But it must be found out before the election. Unlike watergate where the President was "involved" a political party cannot be impeached unless there are specific members who were involved that hold a seat after the election.

Who got these IMs and how?

How long were they held? (another important question)

Will any pages come foward and say... "those words have been altered"?

Well, except that the Republicans didn't boot Foley out. He resigned. After he'd been renominated this year. After the Leadership had ample opportunity to say, "You know, this looks bad. We're going to have to have these on-line relationships with underage pages investigated. Maybe you should step down, for your health or something. Then, after the investigation is done, if you're in the clear, there will be a nice job on K street for you. But if it turns out you really were hitting on these pages, God help you, because we'll be through with you for good."

At least, that's what I'd have wanted them to say. They had no qualification to judge if these relationships were okay or not, and, even if the first kid's parents asked to have the matter dropped, there was still a responsibility to be sure nothing else was going on. The House leadership is "in loco parentis" for these kids during their junior year of high school. Someone dropped the ball. This issue is not going to go away.

I don't know why not. Does ANYONE really believe that no dem at all knew about Foley? And if they did, when did they know, and why did they wait this long for an "October Surprise?"

Who got these IMs and how?

Chris Katsaros is Polosis gay page. His father is an Internet security expert. His mother Robin Katsoros - a former Polosi page - told the current pages she was working on a screen production of the lives of pages. And she gathered information from them.

(This is why Polosi refuses to take a lie detector test, I suppose.)

This Foley case is dead. The damage that the delusional left wing morons hoped for did not mature to anything significant.

Just to correct the record, Pelosi and Co. aren't refusing to take lie detectors tests because they haven't been asked to. They've been asked to answer questions under oath and have refused, claiming that is just a GOP diversion. Of course the friendly media sees no reason to question that.
