NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams is reporting on the Patriot Guard Riders Tonight.
As part of the Homefront Series in America, Janet Shamian presents an excellent report tonight on the Patriot Guard Riders, a grass-roots organization of everyday Americans that are anything but ordinary, and a city that vowed that no members of the American military would return home "without feeling loved".

As many of you know, I worked on a piece for the PGR with this show. We taped the segment back in July and it was to air at the end of July but Lebanon broke loose and the airing got delayed.
I got an email from the producer yesterday and she told me that it is airing Friday evening. It is NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and it is on from 1830 to 1900 hrs. they filmed on a couple of missions and I interviewed with them on a couple of occasions in different places.
They have also included some shots of me and my son in both of our service in the military. Just figured i would give the heads up cause many have asked me what happened with it.

Patriot Guard will be in Beaumont, TX Saturday at the funeral of a fallen soldier, along with many in Beaumont area, to build a wall of love around the family and protect them from a group of Rev. Phelp's Westboro Baptist Church from Topeka, Kansas.
Oh gee, my eyeballs may possibly fall out if I have to look at Brian Williams, but I would not miss seeing this for anything.

To look in the eyes of those who have lost their loved ones who have given their lives for this country and thank them from the bottom of my heart is one of the greatest honors I have ever had. It breaks my heart and makes it soar at the same moment. God bless this family and give them comfort and peace!
