He justifies his adultery by saying his service is indispensable to the rest of us. You have to wonder whether he's sorry he had the affair, he was sorry he got caught, or he's sorry he's in danger of losing his job.

"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." -Manuel II Paleologus

If you are a Republican and you have an affair, you are scum of the Earth and you deserve to be voted out of office.

But if you are a Rat and you have an affair and say a lady drowns or the girl you are having an affair with is a 19 year old Intern, then you are celebrated and your poll numbers go up.

The world we live in, thanks to the press and the Rats, is truly upside down.

Why is this guy paying good money to run an ad which basically just features him apologizing? Everytime you turn on the TV, it's a Republican apologizing for this or that. They should rename this the Apologizers' Party.

Stop apologizing and start beating Democrats! What's wrong with the GOP?

his family has worked through it "because of my deep regret, our love and the fact that the allegation of abuse was never true."

The fact that he (allegedly) DID NOT choke her helped his family "work through it" ???

I'd like to hear THAT conversation:

"Yes, dear, I boinked her a few times. But I DID NOT choke her, I swear!"

And yet, no word on how Maria Cantwell was the "other woman" in lobbyist's divorce.

I have written many times on this subject, and it still doesn't change the fact that when you are in the public service of people who voted for you, you have NO business doing anything if married, gay, or whatever you are except be true to the morals that the people voted you into office with.

When you start to violate those morals, then the person should resign the office immediately. Don Sherwood isn't one bit sorry for anything other than he got caught, therefore he should have resigned.

I don't care if your Republican, Democrat, or Independent, green, brown, pink or purple, if you do the crime, get out of the office.

I did not give him my vote to dishonor it in this manner and I shall never give him or anyone like my vote again.

Between this, Foley and now that other Democrat who is charging phone sex calls to the taxpayers, it's like a scumbag roundup this month.
