I think Comcast is having some problems. Last night various channels kept freezing for several seconds at a time, including the Yankees-Tigers baseball game and 'Law and Order' on USA. (I'm in Bucks Co.)

Not just ComCast come to think of it. I was watching Antiques Roadshow and it just disappeared and something else appeared after the channel being dark for a few minutes.
