Need some help...
...I met some possible illegal aliens this weekend. 1lady, 1 baby (3month old), 1 sister, and a man. They could have been Muslim, but claim to be Christians. Claimed to be Romanian but speak Spanish as well - English is not so good. They were looking for money. They said they came to US from France -> Columbia -> Mexico -> Rio Grande River -> USA (New York) -> Crofton, Maryland. I'm concerned for the baby and mother...they have no money, etc. The mother is panhandling(sp?). Once in US they had a baby (who is now a citizen of the US) and they are applying for 'Greencards' to INS. How should I turn them in? Or are they legal waiting on the response of INS. I don't want make a big deal if they are just legal and poor. They have no sponsor. If they are taken by authorities, they can figure what to do with them (give them food, shelter, etc.) What do you think? And if you have websites, please post. Thanks.

I would call the non-emergency number of the LE under whose jurisdiction this would fall. Ask to speak with an officer, not just the dispatcher and explain your concern. Hopefully, they'll be able to take care of the situation - at least make sure the baby has food.
