TUSCALOOSA | The man who shot and killed a would-be robber late last year now faces federal allegations of illegally sending money out of the country.
Jack Mohamed S. Mused was arrested Thursday on charges of operating an unlicensed money transmitting business, conspiracy to operate an unlicensed money transmitting business and trafficking counterfeit goods.
Mused, 29, was taken into custody about 8 a.m. today at his place of business, the Raceway convenience store on McFarland Boulevard, authorities said.
Members of the Federal Bureau of Investigations Joint Terrorism Task Force arrested him, but details regarding what he did to justify the charges are vague.
