Bill Clinton's 60th party to last 3 days
NEW YORK, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Tickets to former U.S. President Bill Clinton's belated 60th birthday party in New York start at $60,000, a private Rolling Stones concert included.
While Clinton's birthday was Aug. 19, organizers delayed the fundraising event until late October to avoid complaints from Democrats the money raised for Clinton's charitable foundation would be lost to campaign contributions for November's mid-term elections.
Some 2,100 invitations have been sent for the event, which will run from Oct. 27 to Oct. 29, the Washington Post reported Thursday.
Clinton's daughter, Chelsea, will host a Saturday brunch featuring a golf tournament at the Bayonne (N.J.) Golf Club, multiple receptions and a dinner at the American Museum of Natural History with Clinton and his wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y.
The Rolling Stones will perform at the 3,000-seat Beacon Theater, and the invitation says the concert will be taped for an upcoming Martin Scorsese movie about the band.

JMO, the initial song by the Stones(mick and keith and co.) for Clinton's birthday bash will be "Sympathy for the Devil".
Also why wouldn't Mick and Keith, play for Clinton, they both have "friends" who committed suicide in their "professional" past.

Good heavens, didn't Slick already celebrate his 60th throughout the month of August? Just how many celebrations does the egomaniac need?

You have to admit; Bill Clinton is a fun guy, and that's why so many like him---no logic here in regards to his politics or anything else for that matter. He's a fun guy and that's all that counts in a lot of people's minds.

I think the explanation given regarding the circumstances of Brian Jones' death was a tad more plausible than the one given about Foster's.

Look for Bill Clinton's double on display in the primates exhibit called "Great Hairy Apes" - I'm sure he does feel most at home in a museum devoted (in part) to his animal nature....

I think the explanation given regarding the circumstances of Brian Jones' death was a tad more plausible than the one given about Foster's. Uh if there had been no Brian Jones, there would have been no Rolling Stones. mick and keith pushed Brian Jones out.
JMO, the Stones playing for the Clinton's is kinda of a sick joke, between themselves, about how they got rid of their "torublemakers".

He's a fun guy and that's all that counts in a lot of people's minds. Exactly how is he a fun guy? He's got great hair and synopsizes with ignorant woman by "feeling their pain....and other things" only to get laid! Otherwise only a psychopath would have a 3 day celebration celebrating himself!
