This is completely absurd, the very difinition of a frivolous lawsuit. One would hope for it to be laughed out of court, but with the number of liberal judges, it could proceed.
Bad shot, dead people don't sue.
The left loves this. They are on the side of the "oppressed" who take property or assets from the "oppressors". They are against "the haves" protecting their property from the "have nots" since the first principle of leftism is that private property must end.
It's better to be sued than to be killed by a home intruder.
Unfortunately many states, including my own, have little if any statutory protection for the right to self-defense.
In this case the lawyers are the most likely winners. As usual.
