But Dr. Sheela Basrur, Ontario's chief medical officer of health, issued a statement Friday emphasizing that private clubs are not exempt from the ban on smoking indoors in public places.If moron bureaucrats can make arbitrary Caesar-like decree like that one, what's to prevent her, next, from similarly arbitrarily and capriciously "decreeing" my home as a "public place"?

A news release announcing the opening of the pub said it is run by volunteers and is therefore not a workplace either. But pub staff told CBC that they were, in fact, employees. Somebody's lying.
