I was inclined to think so...but there are a LOT of Muslim radicals behind the Army...I'm not sure who has the guns and the loyalty of the military. The other thing going on is that Thaksin doesn't pay the customary baksheesh to the army generals and colonels and the Army feels its power is threatened. Plus, the Army doesn't WANT to fight the Islamic terrorists. Buddhists typically don't like to fight even though they will be consumed if they don't. In that, the Army is like Democrats...
