By the way, there's been lots of islamic bombing in South Thailand over the weekend. 5 people killed and 57 injured. Not much reporting of it worldwide.

It's just amazing and nauseating, that they're always the victims.

You can't "negotiate" or bargain with psychopaths.

the followers of Christianity who have aggressed against every country of the Islamic world?”

Every country in the islamic world exists as the result of jihad. There is no spot of land on earth where indigenous muslims lived.

Every square inch of muslim land was seized in military campaigns, beginning with the capture Mecca in 630, when the Ka'ba was cleansed, pilgrimage rites were Islamicized (conversion/dhimmitude) and the tribes of Arabia vowed allegiance to Muhammad.

Now, they dominate most of the world from the Atlantic to the Pacific, all through jihad. Muslims have never, ever been peaceful but they are sneaky little devils and should never be trusted.

“Who attacked Afghanistan and who invaded Iraq? ... The Pope's statements are an attempt to put a religious cover on injustice and political aggression practised by the American administration against Muslims.”

Benedict opposed the Iraq war (he wasn't Pope when we invaded Afghanstan) and has been consistently pacifist. But, why let facts get in the way of an opportunity for jihad?

Benedict's point -- that faith cannot be devoid of reason -- has been proven again and again in less than a week since his speech, but like the proverbial conundrum about the tree falling in the forest, can he even hope that his words will be heard by those who have been born into societies infused with a religion that devalues and reviles reason?

If civilized countries don't expel them civilization will be replaced by ignorant savagery and barbarism.
